MOSCOW, Jun 8 (PRIME) -- Tatyana Bakalchuk, general director and founder of Russian online retailer Wildberries, said late on Tuesday that the company may change its name for a Russian one.
“I cannot promise that we will do it, but we will think about it,” Bakalchuk said in response to the remark that the name of the company is written in English instead of its Russian translation.
Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said at a forum that there are many companies on the country’s market with foreign names, which are chosen even by the brands that manufacture their product in Russia to attract more buyers.
